Today I took the camera along to the
beach with Bodie, Isis, Libby and Amber. Summer stayed at home to keep
Yaala and Aasha company.
The dogs and I "hit the beach" at
around 9.00 a.m. to avoid the crowds! These photos are looking east and
west at Holkham Bay.
Time for a rest......and take in the
view......
.....before going over the boardwalks
and onto the forest track.
Needless to say they had great fun!

This evening we took Aasha and Yaala
to the beach for the first time. Holkham beach is our local beach - the
timing was perfect with the sun setting and the moon rising and the beach
almost deserted!
This was their first experience with
so much water! It was interesting to watch them solve problems like
crossing channels of water. They are both
very good off lead and even though there was a large expanse for them to explore
they did not venture too far and allowing for the excitement of being somewhere
new were good at
recalls.
It was apparent they had a great time
and we know they will love running free on the beach with the adult dogs when
they are older.
They are the best of friends!

Amber, Harley and Wiggy enjoyed a trip
to a local beach.
At the beginning of the year Amber had
major orthopaedic surgery but is now able to join us on trip to the beach again.
The dogs were soon in the sea!
Amber looked so happy!
Wiggy was soon wet from head to toe!
The boys going head to head under the
waves.
The waves do not worry the dogs at
all......
.....especially Wiggy!
Harley's tail can just be seen on the
left of the photo. Wiggy loves jumping the waves.
The dogs love racing back to
shore.......
......before going out again and
waiting for the next wave.

'Kendaamber'
is a combination
of 'Kenda' - which in Old English means "Water Child" and 'Amber', as she was
our first Golden Retriever. The name could not be more apt!

Today the dogs spent time in the river at
Wroxham, which they thoroughly enjoyed.
Isis enjoyed swimming and relaxing on the river
bank.......
.......while Libby spent most of the time bird
watching and paddling!
As usual Wiggy looked very happy both in........
.......and out of the water!
Harley waited patiently at the water edge........
.......before enjoying another game of retrieving a plastic
bottle.

Today Amber, Isis and Summer started
hydrotherapy.
Amber had TPLO surgery earlier this year (cruciate
ligament) and hydrotherapy is part of her post-op recovery.
Amber is an avid swimmer - and thoroughly
enjoyed her time in the pool.
Summer went to help her regain her 'figure' following
Benson's arrival in April.
Isis went for some additional exercise!
Meanwhile, Harley and Wiggy enjoyed a summer
evening on our local beach.
