SUMMER

Below are a few photos of Summer from her first day at home through to current day

First day at home.

As a puppy her main hobbies were playing and sleeping.

Exploring..........and then sleeping some more!

On her first holiday at Sandringham Caravan Club Site with her new friend Harley.

Summer soon changed into a mischievous "tom boy" - who was always in the thick of the action............even when she had her hair net on!

Her love of her basket has continued from the first day to current - even though it is now a bit of a squeeze!

Her second holiday as a puppy was in the New Forest where she discovered freedom; sticks...........

.........the seaside...........and the comfort of a rubber dinghy for a snooze..............

In true Golden Retriever style she is very adaptable

and is happy at home watching TV......................

...........at the local pub............

teaching a Rottweiler puppy we fostered all he needed to know about being mischievous..........

........."chilling out" on the kitchen floor..........

....................being as "pure as the driven snow"....................

....................or a "mud monster"....................

................or BOTH at the same time................

.............show girl..............

aged 9 months

aged 18 months

..............and Junior Handling partner for Marcus..............

Summer now appears to have outgrown her "tom boy" stage and she is now a "daddy's girl"

.........who always has a smile on her face..........

"Thank You" to Suzi and Garry (Summeramba) for our very special girl.

Below are a few photos of Summer during the last days of her pregnancy in April 2007.

1st April - today we moved the whelping box into the house to give Summer time to get used to it - to our amazement she went in straight away and made herself comfortable.

6th April - Summer enjoys the comfort of the whelping box.........whether she is chewing her Nylabone.......

daydreaming.........

or sleeping...........

10th April - Summer has approximately one week to go...........

11th  April - Summer and I are now sleeping downstairs........

........she slept in the whelping box all night but joined me in the morning on the camp bed!

14th April - Summer enjoying the tranquillity of the garden..........

...before the arrival of the patter of tiny paws.

15th April 2007 - as well as relaxing in the garden with Amber,  Summer also enjoyed...................

...........digging a hole...........

Her singleton puppy was born on 17th April.
