The puppies really enjoy having visits
from friends and family.
Below is a video clip of the
puppies at four weeks playing in the garden. They now enjoy short bursts
of rough and tumble with each other but are very gentle with us.

This morning we allowed
Bodie to have his first peek at the puppies. He seemed to
approve!
He is a very gentle and
biddable puppy but as he is a little clumsy the first meeting was
through the puppy pen. Miss Pink was the first to say hello!
Lunchtime! The
puppies share their meal from a small plate at the moment as this is
the easiest way to stop them walking through their food. The
puppies now enjoy eating Arden Grange.
Playtime!
We call Mr Green "The
Thinker" as he spends a lot of time watching the girls!
Although they are still
very young the puppies teeth are now coming through and they are
quite sharp. The puppies are being taught that it is better to
nibble toys rather than humans!
Simply by providing them
with an alternative they have soon learnt "the rules" and are very
gentle puppies. This is Miss Pink.
Miss Purple reminds us of
Libby, both in her looks and in her sweet nature.
Miss Yellow, the smallest
of the puppies, is a very bonny little girl.

Libby greets all the
visitors with a waggy tail and adores extra cuddles - she is very
proud of her puppies and we are very proud of her. She will
restart her Good Citizen Gold training in September which she
enjoys.
What a big tongue you
have!
We have started to get the
puppies used to being on a table. This is Mr Green.
Miss Yellow.
Playtime for Mr Green and
Miss Pink!
Hello Marcus!

Below is a video clip of
the puppies running free in the garden for the first time yesterday.
The large expanse did not phase them and they had great fun!

We had a very special
visitor yesterday - Benson - who is our first home-bred puppy, aged
15 months. He lives
with our friends, who have given him the perfect home. We are extremely proud of him - he is very
calm and biddable - a perfect gentleman just like his sire (Sh Ch
Shardanell Castaspell - or Harry to his friends!).
Puppy watching!
As a puppy Libby was happy
to baby-sit for Benson - it was lovely to see them together.
Benson was also lightly
trimmed while he was here.
Below is a video of Benson
during his visit, including him meeting the puppies. As
you will see he is a very gentle dog with the calm, biddable
temperament - and only 15 months old.

Today we said goodbye to
our visitor. He will soon be going to a local bird
sanctuary where he can learn to become independent before being
released back into the wild.
His transformation in a
week has been remarkable.
The puppies have continued
to entertain friends and family who come to visit them.
They love playing with
each other - rolling around in fresh shredded paper is great fun!
This is Miss Yellow!
Here she is again - she is
very popular with visitors as she is very sweet - Miss Chocolate
Box!
Dinner-time! The
puppies are very well mannered and although they share the same bowl
they keep to their own portion of food.
Libby is now losing her
coat - she has been groomed daily which she enjoys. Today she had a
shower and this helped to remove a lot more loose coat. It is
inevitable she will loose it at some stage and in some ways "sooner
rather than later" is better. She is now enjoying walks with
our dogs and her Rottweiler friends again. Throughout this
time she has continued to be her happy self but she seems to
appreciate that life if slowly returning to normal.
