Summeramba Carbonara
1 dog puppy born on 17th April 2007
Registered Name: Kendaamber One Good
Reason
1st May - 2 weeks old
Today I received a
phone call from a friend with another singleton puppy.
She asked me if I
would allow "Freddie" to join Summer's litter.
Freddie was born on
23rd April and weighs 1lb 4 ozs
Summer was more
than happy to welcome him to her family and Freddie soon made himself at
home. He is pictured below snoozing happily next to William.
2nd May
Today William started to
take notice of his litter mates. As the puppies are becoming more active I
decided to remove their coloured
collars and mark them with oil pastels.
From left to right -
Hamish, Harry, Hugo, William, Humphrey and Freddie.
The puppies are known
within our family as "The Allsorts" as they very in size and colour.
Just after this photo
was taken William wobbled his way across the whelping box and sat on
my lap. It was a wonderful moment.
The puppies are
continuing to gain weight:
Hugo (Green) - 2lb 4 ozs
Harry (Orange) - 2lb 1 oz
Humphrey (Blue) - 2lb 4 ozs
Hamish (Brown) - 2lb 7
ozs
Freddie (Black) - 1lb 7
ozs
William (Red) - 3lb 15 ozs

4th May
William is a very
relaxed puppy and enjoyed a cuddle after he had his nails trimmed.
After their daily check
up the puppies were all soon fast asleep again.
Summer continues to keep
the puppies in beautiful condition.
William enjoying a
cuddle with Summer. Today William wagged his tail - another magical
moment!
The Allsorts!
5th May
Today Freddie opened his
eyes.
The rest of the puppies
were wormed for the first time.
Summer is good at
multi-tasking - and is able to nurse and clean at the same time.
She also still manages a
"smile" as William becomes more adventurous by the day!
6th May
The H's have become
aware of Summer today and after feeds have enjoyed her company.
William enjoys lots of
interaction with Summer too.
Today Summer was
enjoying some Bio Yoghurt - William came over to investigate - weaning will
start shortly.
William also interacts
with people and enjoys climbing on laps for a bit of TLC.
He is also happy with
his litter mates.
Thank you Margaret,
Stephen and of course Harry (Sh Ch
Shardanell Castaspell) for our "little bit of magic"!
7th May
Today the puppies have
enjoyed having toys in their whelping box to climb over.........
to look at........
and to rest on.......
After playing they
settled down for a sleep........
Today we said "Goodbye
and Good Luck" to Harry and Hugo, who have now gone back to Aya and their
litter mates.
Harry left us weighing
2lb 14 oz, and Hugo 3lb 1 oz.
Hamish and Humphrey will
go over the coming days. We will miss them very much.
