April to September 2009
Here are a collection of
photos of Morgan from April to September.
Builders Mate!

Dog Tired!

On holiday in Cornwall
in April
"Morgan encountered so much on holiday and both Colin
and I couldn’t have been any prouder of her. She encountered sheep
in the adjacent field; chickens roaming freely; lots of beach
visits; three steam train trips; Tintagel Castle; a mini adventure
park and several restaurants. She behaved impeccably
throughout..........."

On holiday in France in
August.
"I
just wanted to give you an update on how Morgan is doing and her
holiday in France. I am delighted to say that she is in the best of
health, bright eyed and bushy tailed.
She
was an absolute star on holiday, from the time she got into the car
to the time she arrived home; she was a splendid traveller, not
complaining once about the long journey, she was just happy to be
included. Colin awarded points to Robyn, Max and Morgan on a daily
basis for good behaviour; Morgan was in the lead for a few days but
got overtaken by Robyn, much to Max’s disappointment.
She
loved having the children around full-time but managed to find some
quiet, cool spots for herself throughout the day."

"She
loved being around the pool, staying so close to the edge that I
thought she would slip in on occasions".

"She
visited our friends who have two male Golden Retrievers.
Whilst on the visit friends of theirs arrived with a Golden
Retriever puppy a month older than Morgan; it was lovely to watch
them interact and play. She had her first swim that day in a
lake........she took to it like a duck to water. She followed the
two boys in and then swam around retrieving sticks that were thrown
to her and generally having a lovely time."

Family Life
Morgan has the most
wonderful life with her family - thank you Colin and Teresa for
taking such superb care of her and including her in everything you
do!

A big "Well Done" to
Robyn and Max for being so kind and gentle with Morgan.
"Max and Morgan have a mutual adoration for each
other, they are virtually inseparable".

The photos and
the funny stories about the puppies make the heartache of saying
goodbye worthwhile. Morgan is no exception.
"Colin’s brother brought his five month old Cocker Spaniel here last
weekend; he is tiny in comparison to Morgan but they played
beautifully. Morgan was very tolerant with Ollie; she got her own
back at the end of the day; Ollie’s lead was put on just before they
left and he was running around with it; Morgan picked it up, about a
foot from his collar, and walked him around the hall, pointing out
that in her house she is actually the boss.
Sorry
I am rambling on – I could talk about Morgan all day!"
January 2010
Morgan continues to
have a wonderful life with her family. She will soon be going
on holiday
to Chamonix with her family for even more walks in the snow.
She is one very lucky Golden Retriever!

Morgan is continuing to
do well at her training lessons.
"Her
recalls (dare I say it) are superb; she seeks permission to go and
say hello to another dog or person and when I think her time is up
there is absolutely no hesitation in her returning to me. Both
Colin and I couldn’t be more pleased or proud. We have a lot of
deer in the surrounding fields but Morgan knows that they are not to
be chased so makes no attempt to do so".
Well
done Morgan!
