Aasha
(pictured above at six weeks) is
our first (and long-awaited!) home-bred bitch puppy. Aasha has inherited her
parents sweet nature and epitomises all that a Golden Retriever
should be - gentle,
biddable and confident.
Her names means "hope". We hope to show Aasha when
time allows and she will also train towards her Kennel Club Good
Citizen Awards.
On 18th
November 2008, Aasha passed her Puppy Foundation assessment with
flying colours, after just five classes, and with a significant gap
between the last class and the assessment, due to the arrival of
Summer's puppies. We are very proud of her - she has inherited
her parents willingness to please and is therefore very easy to
train and has proved she has brains as well as beauty. Aasha
went on to pass Bronze and is now working towards Silver.
Below is
a video clip of Aasha running free on the field with her mum Libby,
and Amber and Isis aged 18 weeks.

Aasha finds getting ready for a show a
relaxing experience!
Aasha
(known fondly by the children as "Baby Aasha") has the sweetest
nature - she is a dream to live with, and train.
Although
showing is only a very small part of her life with us Aasha enjoys
her days out. She can be seen in this clip with her sister
Amber (Kendaamber Evita at Gatchells) at the Golden Retriever Club
Show in July 2009. Amber won the class (Junior Bitch).
