Aasha
(pictured above at six weeks) is
our first (and long-awaited!) home-bred bitch puppy. Aasha has inherited her
parents sweet nature and epitomises all that a Golden Retriever
should be - gentle,
biddable and confident.
Her names means "hope". We hope to show Aasha when
time allows and she will also train towards her Kennel Club Good
Citizen Awards.
On 18th
November 2008, Aasha passed her Puppy Foundation assessment with
flying colours, after just five classes, and with a significant gap
between the last class and the assessment, due to the arrival of
Summer's puppies. We are very proud of her - she has inherited
her parents willingness to please and is therefore very easy to
train and has proved she has brains as well as beauty.
In the New Year will be moving house but the dogs have already
enrolled at a new training club in the area, including Aasha, who
will now work towards Bronze.
