Summer, Libby, Aasha and
Yaala enjoyed a week in Clumber Park.
Isis and Amber stayed at
home with my parents who were house-sitting.
This was Aasha and Yaala's
first experience of caravanning but they took it all in their
stride.
With miles of forest
tracks to explore the dogs has a great time!
They spent the vast
majority of their time off lead, and we were very pleased with how
Yaala and Aasha responded to recalls - even with all the excitement
of being somewhere new and the countless squirrels.
Below
are two videos of the girls enjoying their holiday.

The
video below shows the girls relaxing on the caravan site and walking
around the lake in Clumber Park. Summer really enjoys
swimming, while the others prefer to paddle.
Recalls
in situations like this have to be very responsive. As you
will see in the video there are lots of swans around - a bird which
is renown for being very protective of their young - so ensuring the
girls came out of the water when told was very important - however
tempting it was to stay in.
The
video below shows the girls walking along quiet country lanes and
forest paths - we alternate the walks with free running and walking
to heel off lead.
They
enjoyed having fun in the leaves and watching the squirrels in the
trees above - and we get a great deal of pleasure from watching them
have so much fun.
